Safari can save video downloads directly to the Files app. This makes it possible to download public Instagram Reels on iPhone without extra apps.
Safari workflow
- Copy the Reel link in Instagram.
- Open Safari and visit SnapInsta.
- Paste the link into the downloader.
- Tap Download and save the file.
Saving to Photos
After the file downloads, open Files, tap the video, use Share, and choose Save Video. The Reel will then appear in the Photos app.
